01About This Site

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of blockchainthebook.com (the “Site”), operated by StarkWare Industries Ltd. (“StarkWare,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). The Site provides information about, and supports the marketing of, the book Zero Knowledge, Infinite Trust: The Evolution and Revolution of Blockchain Technology by Eli Ben-Sasson and Nathan Jeffay (the “Book”), published by John Wiley & Sons. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

02Eligibility

The Site is intended for individuals aged 16 or older. If you are under 16, please do not use the Site.

03No Accounts

The Site does not require you to register or create an account. Certain features (such as requesting the free chapter, subscribing to updates, or claiming bonus content) require you to submit your email address and, where applicable, your name and order confirmation number.

04Purchasing the Book - Third-Party Retailers

StarkWare does not sell the Book directly through the Site and is not a retailer of the Book. The Site links to third-party retailers, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Bookshop.org, Books-A-Million, Porchlight, Waterstones, and Indigo, and to a Shopify storefront.

• •Purchases made on any of the above retailer sites are a transaction solely between you and that retailer, governed entirely by that retailer’s own terms of sale, pricing, shipping, returns, and privacy policies. StarkWare has no control over, and no responsibility for, those transactions.
• •Purchases made through the Shopify link are fulfilled by Bookhighlight, our book fulfillment partner, which manages payment processing, order fulfillment, and shipping for those orders, and whose terms and policies govern that purchase. StarkWare may, at its discretion, contribute to shipping costs for certain orders placed through this link, but StarkWare is not the merchant of record and does not process payment. Questions or complaints about an order (including shipping, delivery, refunds, or payment) placed through the Shopify link should be directed to book@starkware.co, and we will route them accordingly.

We make reasonable efforts to keep retailer links current but do not guarantee the price, availability, or accuracy of listings on any third-party retailer site.

05Bonus Content and Promotions

Certain bonuses described on the Site (such as exclusive chapters, live Q&A sessions, book club guides, or bulk-order benefits) are made available to purchasers who submit proof of purchase as instructed on the Site. Availability, format, timing, and scope of bonus content and live events are at StarkWare’s and the authors’ discretion and may be changed, delayed, or discontinued at any time. Bulk-order pricing and associated bonuses are subject to a separate agreement between StarkWare and the purchaser and are not binding merely by virtue of being described on the Site.

06Intellectual Property

All text, images, video, audio, and other content on the Site (excluding the Book itself, which is published and licensed separately by John Wiley & Sons), together with the “Zero Knowledge, Infinite Trust” name and related marks, are owned by StarkWare, the authors, and/or their licensors, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and download content from the Site for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Site content for any other purpose without our prior written consent.

07Links to Third-Party Sites

The Site contains links to third-party websites (including retailers, social media, and video platforms) that are not owned or controlled by StarkWare. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site. Use of any third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site’s own terms.

08Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

09Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StarkWare shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or your purchase of the Book from any third-party retailer, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StarkWare and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

11Changes to the Site and These Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Site, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; changes take effect once posted, and your continued use of the Site after that constitutes acceptance.

12Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel.
